We talk about sustainability – What does that mean?

Updated: Sep 13, 2021

Sustainability is becoming more and more a key strategy for all companies, across all industries.

According to the Institute for Management Development, 62% of Executives consider a sustainability strategy necessary to be competitive in today’s cooperate world, and 22% think it will be in the future.

These are the sustainability strategies of big companies such as Nike, Adidas, Nestle, Coca-Cola and BMW:

  • Reducing waste and minimizing its footprint.

  • Creating a greener supply chain.

  • Optimizing material usage.

  • Using office products that are made from recycled material (e.g., office supplies made from recycled plastic).

However, sustainability does not only refer to the environment, but also to the economy and society.

Sustainable business practice examples are:

  • Partner with employees by training them.

  • Create a work environment of social equality.

  • Undergo a racial bias training program with your employees.

PMLogic believes that all the work we do should impact the planet positively. Therefore, we created a remote based business environment where nearly no traveling is required, and our work is done electronically and saved to our OneDrive to avoid using papers. Additionally, we were pledging a donation of 50 trees to the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife for every new Professional Services agreement signed until the end of June.

We are always interested in new ways to contribute to a sustainable world as well as in collaborations. Get in touch with us if you are interested in making a positive impact on creating a better sustainable world enquiries@pmlogic.com.au .
